Roman Cieŝlewicz

My Story
Roman Cieślewicz was born in 1930 in Lwow, and graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow in 1955, the following year he moved to Warsaw and worked for various publishing houses. During that period he created numerous posters and graphic projects and participated in all the poster events in Poland and abroad. He settled in Paris in 1963, first as artistic director of Elle (1966-1969), then as artistic director of M.A.F.I.A. (Maïme Arnodin Fayolle International Associés from 1969 to 1972). In 1970 he created the magazine Kitsch with Roland Topor.
